I'm sorry there hasn't been any news up here in three years. I changed hosts and computers and lost the ftp information for this site. But I tracked it down and now I can tell you what's going on with this comic.
What's going on is that I've moved on. In 2005 I got swamped with schoolwork and couldn't update anymore. Then I got a job in animation and moved to Oregon. And now I have other comic projects that I want to do. Return to Sender was started when I was 16 and in high school. Now I'm 23 and a different person, with different taste and different ambitions as a storyteller. I don't want to go back to work on this. It would be like going back to high school. I think I can do much better, with fresh characters and tools other than a crappy-ass micron pen.
I've been doing stories for the Flight Anthology, and I have a longer project that I'm starting work on. So there'll be more comics out of me, don't worry. I don't think I'll be doing any more comics on the internet, though. A good way to keep track of me is to check out my art blog, which I keep updated with my drawings, or my website, which is more infrequently updated. As soon as I've got something to show, it'll be there.
I'll leave this page up because I'm sure someone out there will enjoy reading approximately half of a comic for free. But if everyone's getting really annoyed at the sudden stop, let me know and I'll take it all down. Sorry for not finishing what I started, but that's what happens sometimes when teenagers try to write long-form stories before they know what they're doing. Thanks for the good times, internet. You're the best.
Updating Sundays whenever I am free from school (winter breaks, reading weeks, and four months in the summer).
